Server log files

The hosting provider (easyname GmbH, Vienna) automatically records standard server log files — IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type. These data are processed for the technical operation and security of the website (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) f GDPR) and are evaluated in anonymised, aggregate form for cookie-free usage statistics (AWStats). No profiles are created; the data are not merged with other sources and are deleted according to the provider’s retention schedule.

Contact form and e-mail

If you contact me via the form or by e-mail, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, subject, message) are used solely to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR) and are stored no longer than necessary for this correspondence. They are not passed on to third parties.

YouTube video (click-to-load)

The explanatory video on the start page is embedded as a click-to-load element. When the page is opened, no connection to YouTube is made. Only when you actively press the play button is the video loaded from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com, Google Ireland Ltd.); from that moment, YouTube may process your IP address and set its own cookies under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If you do not press play, no data reaches YouTube.

Links to external websites (e.g. Bärenreiter, mdw, YouTube, LinkedIn) are ordinary hyperlinks. No data is transmitted to these sites by merely visiting this website.
